Jon Perry is a founding partner of the Perry Firm which began
in 1996. Jon has 19 years of litigation experience with state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative
hearings concerning a variety of issues including, business litigation, insurance defense, trucking accidents, medical malpractice, auto
accidents, workers compensation, family law, divorce and adoptions. He has been lead counsel in jury trials across Tennessee
in Plaintiff and Defense cases. He serves as a guest speaker and panel member for various attorney education seminars
and alumni events.
Mr. Perry has represented
clients on appeals to the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the
request of the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court, Jon argued cases for the SCALES Program, an acronym
for the Supreme Court Advancing Legal Education for Students. Jon was re-elected to the Tennessee Bar Association House of
Delegates for the 21st Judicial District, representing Williamson, Perry, Hickman and Lewis Counties.
Jon
was the 2007 Chairman of the Board for the Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Boards of two Chambers
of Commerce with a total service time of 6 years.
Jon grew up in a Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and graduated from Lawrence County High School in 1985. He is a 1989 graduate
of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee where he was a four year varsity tennis team member and named an All-American in Mock
Trial at the 1989 National Championship. Jon is married to attorney Laura D. Perry of Homeland Title, LLC. The
Perrys have two sons, Ryan and Tanner. Jon's interests include monthly boy scout trips with sons, acustic guitar, song
writing, road bikes, and travel.
